The novelty has attracted the curiosity of thousands of visitors at Heimtextil, where it was the spotlight in the new collection. «It was a challenge that we assumed, but we still have a long road to go. Now we are going to keep working and I hope that soon we might be selling it. Clients are really interested, their jaw just dropped», unveils the administrator Fátima Sousa to Jornal Têxtil, in an article published in January’s issue.
The new collection, meanwhile, is characterized by different structures. «Up to now, it was a matter of more or less design. This year we bet a lot on structures. A German producer said we had the best designs in the fair and he was also exhibiting», adds the administrator.
A new development that certainly will generate more sales for the terry towel producer. «We have been growing for several years now. But perspectives are to grow even more in 2016, since we are increasing to 200 tons from 150 tons a month», she explains. In 2015, the turnover of Domingos de Sousa & Filhos improved 8.5%, to 17 million euros.
